Custom search lookalikes

Extend active search intent into programmatic reach.

What it is

Custom Search Lookalikes are a specialized type of Custom Built Audience. They are seeded with search intent signals from an opted-in panel.

Dstillery uses opted-in search panel data and ID-free technology. It identifies people searching for your brand's keywords and finds others with the same behaviors across the open web, CTV, and beyond. The result is search-quality intent at programmatic scale, without cookies or deterministic IDs.

Use DS-1 to select search terms and build a lookalike audience. See Build a search LAL audience.

Available self-serve via DS-1, or fully managed through your Dstillery Client Services team.

Why it's different

Before

Search intent is powerful but siloed. It lives in Google or Bing and cannot activate across the open web, CTV, or other programmatic environments.

After

Dstillery captures search signals from an opted-in panel. Multimodal AI finds matching search behaviors across the programmatic landscape, so your keywords work harder everywhere.

How it works

1

Choose keywords

Target keywords can be selected, or Dstillery can recommend them based on campaign goals.

2

Analyze search behavior

Multimodal AI analyzes behavior from an opted-in, consented search panel of approximately two million users.

3

Map intent at scale

Those patterns map across 400M+ devices to find people exhibiting the same intent signals.

4

Deliver and refresh

A custom predictive model is built and delivered to your DSP within 24 hours. The model refreshes every 24 hours, targeting the most current in-market signals.

Key benefits

Good fit if you

  • Are running search campaigns and want to extend that intent into programmatic, CTV, and beyond.

  • Want a fully cookieless option, with no reliance on cookies or deterministic IDs.

  • Want to reach people who show the same search intent, even if they have not visited your site.
